Author Bio: Betti Avari resides in a quaint mountain valley in Northern Utah, and grew up running through meadows, hiking mountain trails, and reading beside wooded streams. Now she spends her days absorbed in story and her sleepless nights beside a fire, typing her latest tale. Avari’s engaging stories dare a reader to think twice before forming conclusions. She says she writes because life is too short not to. Avari’s short stories can be found in the following anthologies: In Spite of the Dark; Soul, Sand and Sky; The Hunger; and Spirals, among others. Avari is past president of Brigham City Writers, a chapter of the League of Utah Writers.
The Brigham City Public Library is located between Main Street and 100 East, northeast of the old courthouse.
