You have a lot of talent packed into your manuscript, and you need a publishing experience that matches your level of expertise. How do you find the right publishing house for you? Learn what you can do to prepare your manuscript to draw the attention of the acquisitions editor. We’ll talk about what they are looking for and what you can do to make your submission rise to the top of the query pile.

Samantha Millburn is the managing editor of Covenant Communications and happily dedicates her work life to editing excellent books. She’s been reading books every spare moment she has since elementary school, so why not make a career of her first love? She collaborates with extremely talented writers and cherishes not only her friendships with them but also the honor it is to help them turn their manuscripts into masterpieces. She has done so with hundreds of books for multiple authors.

She graduated from BYU–Idaho with honors with a bachelor’s degree in English. She currently lives in Rigby, Idaho, and dedicates her nonwork life to her husband, Matthew, and their five beautiful children. Besides reading, Samantha enjoys watching and playing sports, cooking, and being with family.
